Paola is a self-taught painter with an eclectic background and an interesting artistic path. His first approach to art occurred during his long stay in Copenhagen, where she attended, from 2000 to 2013, the porcelain painting workshop of Marianne Knudsen, a talented decorator from Royal Copenhagen.

This experience allowed her to learn the basics of using brushes and delicate colors on fragile surfaces, acquiring some skill in detail work.
Over the years, he broadened her skills by switching to oil painting on canvas and wood. This change in technique allowed her to explore greater artistic expression and experiment with different textures and shades.
During her journey with oil painting, she had the opportunity to participate in workshops with experienced artists, including Els Vink, from whom she learned the layering technique of the Dutch masters. This training allowed her to use light and shadows more dynamically in her works, giving them greater depth.
She has mainly chosen to focus on the realistic creation of still lifes, especially with flowers, plants and fruit, where she applies the different techniques acquired that allow her to capture accurate details and create works that reflect the natural beauty of the objects. Her inspiration and choice of subjects were influenced by the painters Georgia O'Keeffee, Marianne North, Frida Kahlo but also by the world of macro photography expressed by Robert Mapperthorpe, Karl Blossfeldt, Harold Davis, Mandy Disher.
A peculiar aspect of her artistic style is the interest in macro-painting, where she manages to highlight the smallest and often overlooked details of objects, transforming them into artistic compositions. As for the use of colors, Paola prefers a rich and lively palette. She uses rich hues to capture the viewer's attention and directly evoke emotion.
In general, she worked hard to perfect his artistic skills, trying to find her own voice and style. Though self-taught, she has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to honing his skills and creating works that reflect her personal vision.
After returning to Italy, she devoted herself full time to her profession as a teacher of Italian language to foreigners but continued to devote herself to her passion for art. Honing her technical skills and experimenting with new styles, she continues to produce work both for herself and for friends and clients.
